SINGAPORE - From April 4, StarHub cable TV subscribers can get to watch British dramas like Sherlock on BBC First when the channel makes its first Southeast Asian launch.

Those who are not StarHub cable TV customers can also tune in to the subscription video on-demand channel via the Go Premium Pack on the telco's online streaming service StarHub Go.

Soon, some popular dramas will be aired here within 24 hours of their original transmission, said Monty Ghai, senior vice-president and general manager of BBC Worldwide Southeast Asia said.

"The BBC is known for its commitment to high quality productions and our customers can look forward to watching entire seasons of their favourite critically acclaimed dramas in High Definition, at any time and on any device," said Lee Soo Hui, head of StarHub's media business unit.
