Bing it on

Wuxia fantasy powers

Fan: Fan plays the title character in The White Haired Witch And The Lunar Kingdom, a wuxia romance in which she falls for a guy, the guy betrays her, she goes bonkers and her hair turns white. Reminds me a bit of The Bride With White Hair, which is a personal fave.

Li: In her upcoming film Zhong Kui: Snow Girl And The Dark Crystal, Li plays the love interest of the legendary Zhong Kui (Chen Kun), an anti-hero who battles in Heaven and Earth to save his countrymen and his girl. The film will be out early next year.

Round one: Draw
Both flicks look cool.

Asian movie powers

Fan: Fan got her start on TV about 15 years ago then quickly jumped into films such as A Chinese Tall Story, Lost In Beijing and Double Xposure. She won a Golden Horse Award as Best Supporting Actress for The Matrimony, and a Hundred Flowers Award as Best Actress for Cell Phone. Fan has topped Forbes' China Celebrity 100 List for the past two years.

Li: Like Fan, she started off in the late 90s and never looked back, starring in films such as Purple Butterfly, Waiting Alone, 1911 and Detective Dee And The Mystery Of The Phantom Flame. She won a Hundred Flowers Award as Best Actress for The Knot, and a Golden Horse Award as Best Actress for The Message.

Round two: Draw
Both Bingbings rule the Asian box office.

Hollywood movie powers

Fan: You may not know this, but Fan appeared in Iron Man 3 as a nurse. Her scene wasn't included in the film's international version, but it was shown in Chinese theatres. Perhaps it was this brief contact with Marvel that led to her high-profile role as the mutant Blink in X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

Li: Li hasn't been in Hollywood for long, but she has already made an impact with Resident Evil: Retribution and Transformers: Age Of Extinction. She has a great role in Transformers, playing a kick-butt character who wins the hearts of Stanley Tucci and the audience. She's also going to be in the coming Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

Round three: Draw
Both are going big in Hollywood.

The winner: Both Bingbings
It's impossible to choose between the two. It seems the name could become a byword for super-pretty and talented.
