Bon Jovi to rock Singapore GP

Rock fans, rejoice.

Bon Jovi will return to Singapore after 20 years.

The American band will be performing at the post-race concert at the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix on Sept 20.

Bon Jovi (above), best known for smash hits like "Livin' on a Prayer", "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "It's My Life", will perform a full-length concert at the Padang.

Homegrown musicians, The Sam Willows - who have the most subscribed music band channel on YouTube in Singapore with more than 46,000 subscribers - will be performing on Sept 18 and 20.

Jamaican singer-songwriter Jimmy Cliff and Swedish band Dirty Loops complete the entertainment line-up for this year's Singapore Grand Prix.

They will join previously announced artistes Pharrell Williams, Maroon 5 and Spandau Ballet.

Performances will be held at three different locations - Village Stage, near Nicoll Highway MRT station, and the Padang and Coyote stages - which are accessible from the Raffles Place station.

Access to the concerts is subject to the type of ticket purchased.

The Bon Jovi show is included with any Singapore Grand Prix Sunday ticket.

Tickets for the night race are available at www.singaporegp.sg, via the ticketing hotline (6738 6738), and all authorised ticketing agents.
