The boy who video-bombed a news report, and completely owned it

He appears at the left hand corner of your video screen, pose-dancing and complete with a diva look.

But no, he's not a professional dancer in one of Madonna's slick music videos.

He is Brendan Jordan, the 15-year-old kid who video-bombed a US news and made it hilariously watchable.

Brendan, who stole the spotlight from the news anchor reporting on the opening of a Los Angeles shopping centre in October 2014, as his dance moves emulating Lady Gaga's "Applause" choreography and model poses caught the attention of the Internet world and international media.

His routine was so fierce, it eventually made it to Lady Gaga's radar screen, who called out to him on Twitter.

Jordan told Today.com: "I just saw a camera, and did my thing.

"I was imagining myself as if I were Lady Gaga, and that no one could destroy me."

And what of him, five months on from his Internet infamy?

He has since been interviewed on a talk show with Queen Latifah, made an appearance as a model for US apparel chain, American Apparel, and revealed that he is gay.

Brendan has his own YouTube channel where he posts videos from anything about bullying to how to wear eyeliner.

His latest Youtube video is titled 'How to be a model'.
