Celebrate spring the Germany way with Maifest this Thursday and Friday

Break out your drindls and lederhosens - it's that time of the year once again to celebrate spring the German way at Erdinger Maifest 2015.

Erdinger Weissbrau, brewer of the world's No.1 German wheat beer, will celebrate its German heritage with Singaporeans for the fourth consecutive year with Erdinger Maifest 2015.

A colourful festival that celebrates the arrival of Frühling or spring, this annual festival is held in the month of May where locals congregate around the iconic Maibaum (Maypole) in merry-making which includes enjoying beer, sumptuous food, music and performances.

Highlights of the Erdinger Maifest 2015 main event at Clarke Quay include our favourite German beer Erdinger and authentic German delicacies, set on long benches for guests to enjoy their meals the traditional way.

Ois Easy, septet band back by popular demand and once again specially flown to perform at Erdinger Maifest, will have the audiences up dancing on their feet (as well as on the tables and chairs) with their unique and highly engaging blend of popular and traditional tunes.

Tavern maids, dressed in costumes modelled after German barmaids, will be roaming within the event area serving Erdinger beers and mingling with guests, enlivening the festive atmosphere.
