Deuce Bigalow back here for more laughs

SINGAPORE - Hollywood comedian-actor Rob Schneider is set to return to Singapore for a one-night-only stand-up comedy show next month.

To be held on Oct 26 at The Star Theatre in Buona Vista, the show is part of Schneider's stand-up tour this year and will feature brand-new material.

Known for movies such as The Hot Chick (2002), The Animal (2001) and the Deuce Bigalow series (1999 to 2005), Hollywood's funnyman last performed here in 2011 at Suntec City.

The 49-year-old started his career by opening for comedians such as Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld.

He then went on to become a series regular on Saturday Night Live, where he stayed on for four seasons, during which he garnered three Emmy nominations and a Peabody award for his work.
