Ex-teen idol Efron in 5-month rehab

Former teen idol Zac Efron did the unthinkable - he managed to keep his five-month rehab stint under wraps.

The 25-year-old actor secretly checked into a treatment facility to deal with a cocaine problem. It was reported that the US actor also experimented with MDMA, the active ingredient in Ecstasy tablets.

His alleged struggle with drugs began while filming Seth Rogen's movie Neighbors in April, when the actor reportedly missed several days of filming due to his addiction, a source close to the film told TMZ.

Efron is now said to be healthy, happy and focused on his movie career as he aims to put his days as a teen heartthrob behind him.

He was all smiles at the recent Toronto Film Festival for the premiere of his latest movie Parkland.
