EXID to perform in Singapore on July 15

K-pop girl group EXID will be coming to town next month as part of their inaugural Asia tour.

The band will take the stage for one night only on July 15 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Their Asia tour kicks off in Hong Kong on June 17 as part of promotional efforts for their latest mini-album, Eclipse.

Released in April this year, the album debuted at number four on Billboard's World Albums chart, making it the band's first top five entry into the chart.

The Singapore leg of their tour will include a special segment after the concert.

All Category 1 ticket holders will receive a group photo taken with EXID and engage in a 'hi-touch' with the band - which is basically giving each one of the members a high five.

Originally made up of five members, the group's leader Solji is currently on hiatus due to health-related issues.

Fellow members including LE, Hani, Hyelin and Jeonghwa have continued with active promotions for the group.

EXID first shot to fame with the catchy 2014 hit single 'Up & Down'.

Since then, the group has enjoyed widespread popularity in Asia.

Its latest single 'Night rather than day' recently topped the iTunes K-pop charts as well.

Ticket sales opens on June 17 at 12pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium box office, all SingPost outlets or online at www.apactix.com.
