NAME: CHRIS PRATT

BORN: JUNE 21, 1979 IN MINNESOTA, US

1) HE LOVES BEING NAKED

He wasn't your typical Magic Mike-esque stripper but the actor revealed that when he was 18, he booked a few stripping gigs. "I was always a very much naked person. I loved to get naked. I was very free, so I thought, I may as well get paid," he said.

2) HE'S A HEAVYWEIGHT

The rotund funnyman's weight has been yo-yoing according to his roles.

As a dejected over-the-hill baseball player in Moneyball, he shed 13kg.Then came his part as a US Navy SEAL in Zero Dark Thirty, for which he had to get lean and mean.

For his new comedy Delivery Man, which opens here tomorrow, he piled on 27kg to portray best buddy to a prolific sperm donor (Vince Vaughn) and overwhelmed stay-at-home dad who put his legal career on hold to look after his four children.

3) HE WANTS MORE KIDS

After meeting on the set of Take Me Home Tonight, Pratt married US actress Anna Faris in 2009 in Bali, after which they welcomed their first child, Jack, in 2012. He said during an interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that he "would like more (kids). I would have another one right away. We've talked about it".

4) HE'S A HUNTER

"Hunting is in my blood. My dad and uncles hunted," he revealed. He shows no mercy when he comes across one particular deer species. "My favourite animal to hunt is probably elk. There's nothing like the sound of a bugling bull splitting the cold air at first light. And that smell is unmistakable."

5) HE'S A LEADING MAN

2014 will be the year Pratt finally sheds his second banana status. Not only is he voicing the lead in the animated adventure-comedy The Lego Movie, he got buff and hunky to play Guardians leader Peter Quill aka Star-Lord in the upcoming Marvel superhero flick Guardians of the Galaxy.
