Jay Chou likely to have church wedding

HONG KONG - Jay Chou's girlfriend Hannah Quinlivan has hinted at a January church wedding to the singer, say Hong Kong newspapers.

The 21-year-old model was quizzed about her wedding plans with her 35-year-old boyfriend when she made an appearance at a mall in Hong Kong on Sunday, said The Sun.

Rumour has it that they will walk down the aisle in early January at New Life Church in Taipei, where he was baptised two years ago.

She did not deny the rumour, but said: "It's still being arranged. The location is uncertain. We're still planning it step by step. It should be the church where we usually have gatherings, but it's not certain."

As for talk of the couple taking six months of marriage counselling classes, she said: "There're no formal classes. Our church friends are concerned about us, and blessing and praying for us."

She said she was "enjoying" every stage of the wedding planning and would stay in Taipei for Christmas.

The pair's romance was first reported around her 18th birthday in August 2011, after she apparently went on holiday in Europe with him and his mother.

This year, he said he would marry her before his 36th birthday, which will be on Jan 18 next year.

The couple recently returned from another vacation in Europe, which Quinlivan described as "very relaxing".

She said it was not a wedding shoot, but added: "We took a lot of pretty pictures."
