Jean-Claude Van Damme's epic split isn't just entertaining, it also pulled up sales of the vehicles featured in the ad by 31 per cent last month, compared to the same month last year.

The ad for Volvo trucks went viral online, sparking a long series of parodies.

Designed to demonstrate the truck's dynamic steering feature, 53-year-old Van Damme is seen perched precariously across two trucks which drove gradually apart, allowing him to perform the leg split.
