Justice League movie confirmed, Zack Snyder to direct

Warner Bros president of worldwide production, Greg Silverman, has confirmed to The Wall Street Journal that the studio is planning for a movie based on DC Comics' iconic super-team, the Justice League.

The movie is to be directed by Zack Snyder, who helmed Man Of Steel - Superman's return to the silver screen last year.

Snyder is also director of the sequel to Man Of Steel, planned for 2016 and referred to widely as Batman Vs Superman.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Silverman said: "Superman Vs Batman will lead into Justice League."

The report said that the Justice League movie is unlikely to come out before 2018, and a script is still being developed.

The Justice League has being helmed traditionally by DC Comics' biggest heroes - Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Other heroes in the league include Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern and Cyborg.
