Local celebrities Jesseca Liu and Jeremy Chan will marry before end of this year

Celebrity couple Jesseca Liu, 38, and Jeremy Chan, 36, have confirmed that they will tie the knot by the end of this year.

Back in July last year, the two artistes first went public with the relationship after Jesseca revealed in an interview that she was "in a stable relationship".

The duo have been said to be dating "with marriage in mind" and in 2014, they had previously worked together on an online web series, Who Killed the Lead.

Said to be busy with her upcoming Chinese drama, Mind Matters, Liu is reportedly in the midst of wedding preparation and plans to hold a beachside wedding in her hometown of Langkawi, Malaysia where she grew up.

"I've always wanted a beachside wedding [and we] haven't decided if we will also hold another celebration in Singapore," she said in an interview with broadcasting website, Toggle.

Liu also added that it will be a "very low-profile wedding" as they only plan to extend invitations to close friends and family.

"I hope for our relatives to enjoy it so we don't plan to have many tables. I hope to keep it small, comfortable and stress-free," said Liu.

One of the "seven princesses of Mediacorp", the statuesque 1.72m actress has yet to decide on her bridal gown and declined to share how much they will be spending on the wedding.

On how she decided Chan was Mr Right, she said, "I like him because he is very hardworking and sincere."

Congratulations to the happy couple!
