Kara are fast becoming my favourite girls in K-pop. And the reason is simple - this sassy quintet just keep improving with every release they put out.
While I enjoyed their previous EP, Pandora, for its infectious bubblegum tunes, their fourth Korean studio album, Full Bloom, goes one up with its edgy, rock-inspired sound.
Lead single Damaged Lady is a feisty female empowerment anthem, with synthesizers, electric guitar riffs and the gals' confident rapping all gelled into a cool, slick tune.
Their newfound rock swagger is evident too on groovy numbers like In The Game and 2Night. Another standout track is Runaway, which features a lovely acoustic guitar intro.
Kara's first ever solo concert in Seoul, Karasia 2012 The 1st Concert 3-D, will be shown at Golden Village Yishun and Jurong Point this weekend - in full 3-D glory. What better time than now to pick up a copy of their latest album?
