Magic on horseback

A SHOW that combines horse riding stunts with acrobatics, dance and live music has opened at Marina Bay.

Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Human and Horse, billed as a multimedia equestrian spectacular, will feature 50 horses and 46 acrobats (see photo, above).

It originated in Canada 11 years ago and is the brainchild of Normand Latourelle, one of the co-founders of the famous Cirque du Soleil.

The show is held under a tent at Bayfront Avenue, next to Marina Bay Sands.

The main tent can hold more than 2,000 people.
