Uqasha Senrose, the actress who was caught with drugs in her handbag, believed she was set up.

"Some people want to fix me up. What challenge am I facing next?" she asked Harian Metro.

She had earlier been taken to a police station in Kuala Lumpur after a road accident.

She has since been released on bail.

Uqasha, 26, also dispelled talk that she was "high" when she was brought to the police station.

"A urine test showed that it was negative," she said.

Another report in Kosmo! said she was detained when the Range Rover she was driving knocked into another car in Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

The pills, valued at about RM660 (S$222), were inside her Chanel bag.

The actress, whose real name is Nik Zaris Uqasha Nik Zain, appeared in the drama Hero Seorang Cinderella.
