SINGAPORE - Singer-songwriter Ming Bridges became the first Singaporean to be featured on the music series MTV Sessions, recorded at Resorts World Sentosa's Waterfront Studio on Thursday night.
With some 200 fans present, the 20-year-old started the intimate session with the catchy "Sweet Misfortune" and went on to deliver a repertoire of familiar favourites like "Under The Stars" and "Some Guys". Bridges also debuted a brand new track called "U & I".
During the concert, the half-British beauty revealed that she grew up watching MTV and that the performance was a dream come true for her.
The session wrapped up with an emotionally raw performance of the ballad 'Tears Like Rain', which Bridges dedicated to her grandmother and the audience.
Ming Bridges premieres on MTV SEA on Saturday, Oct 12 at 1pm local time. Additional content can be found online at www.mtvasia.com/mtvsessions.
