Movie review: Gravity (PG13)

Ratings: 5 out of 5

If there's one film that needs to be watched in 3-D IMAX, this is it.

Gravity is a visually stunning, jaw-dropping, breathtaking, gripping - how many more adjectives can there be! - masterpiece.

Dr Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock), a scientist on her first spacewalk, is guided by veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (George Clooney), who is on his last mission.

Disaster strikes when their shuttle is hit by a debris storm, leaving them floating helplessly in space.

And when you think being stranded in the void is bad enough, unimaginable troubles keep coming up.

Director Alfonso Cuaron couldn't have found better actors to anchor this disaster movie. Bravo.
