Movie review: Ted 2

Movie review: Ted 2

Consider yourself warned.

This sequel to the 2012 hit about a talking teddy bear is not for those with a low tolerance for toilet humour and profanity.

The newly-married Ted (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) wants to start a family with human wife Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth), but the law doesn't recognise him as a "living thing".

Ted decides to prove he's a person in a court of law with the help of rookie lawyer Samantha (Amanda Seyfried).

Of course, Ted's never without the support of his "Thunder Buddy" John (Mark Wahlberg).

While Ted 2 goes the distance to prove Ted's a living person, it is ironically lacking in heart and soul.

The abundance of racist humour, F-bombs and eye-rolling juvenile comedy also outweigh the genuinely funny moments.

The only bright spark is the flawless CGI wizardry that makes you truly believe that Ted is real.
