Reality star parents in lawsuit over hacking and stealing

UNITED STATES - American reality star Kate Gosselin, 38, is suing ex-husband Jon Gosselin, 36.

She is accusing him of hacking into her computer and phone and stealing her hard drive to obtain material for a tell-all book.

Kate's lawyer said in the lawsuit: "Jon violated a federal anti-hacking statute in order to publish salacious, scandalous and defamatory information about Kate. It has damaged her reputation."

She is seeking unspecified damages.

The Gosselins starred in the reality TV show Jon & Kate Plus 8, which followed their life with their twins and sextuplets. They separated in 2009 and later divorced.
