Rock duo Air supply to perform in Singapore in March

SINGAPORE - Soft rock veterans Air Supply are slated to perform at The Star Theatre on Mar 7.

The duo, consisting of guitarist and singer-songwriter Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchock, began their career 40 years ago.

They have since released 17 albums, as well as various Top 10 hits in the US, starting with Lost in Love in 1980, but are best known for hit love ballads such as Goodbye and Making Love Out Of Nothing At All.

Air Supply also has the distinction of being the first western group to tour China and Taiwan.

Despite their long history, the two-man act shows no signs of stopping, having released an album, Mumbo Jumbo, in 2010.

In 2013, the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) inducted the band into its Hall of Fame.

Tickets for the performance start from $78 and will be available from SISTIC starting Jan 19.
