Rookie Lovelyz group is lovely, charming

Eight-member Lovelyz appeared on V for the second time for a segment titled "Lovelyz Pure Live" at 10:30 p.m. on Friday.

"Hello, everyone, we will perform three songs live for you today," said Ji-ae. The members, wearing matching light orange dresses, sat down to sing for fans.

The first song on the list was "Shooting Star," which is off of its latest EP, "Lovelyz8."

The members described the song as a special one, befitting the fall season, and dedicated it to those who have experienced a farewell of any kind.

For the second performance, Lovelyz played "Ah-choo" in an acoustic guitar version for the first time on the app.

Members sang slower than the original pop song version, while Sujeong played the guitar.

After their performance, fans showered them with praise and asked Lovelyz to release a new album with the acoustic version on it.

The last performance featured just four members -- Baby Soul, Sujeong, Kei and Jin -- singing "Love Me for Me," which was originally sung by Lynn, as the members created a beautiful harmony.

Earlier, Jonghyun of SHINee said hello on the app at 7:50 p.m., before heading to the stage for his solo concert "The Story by Jonghyun" at 8 p.m.

"I am doing a total of 12 performances for the concert series and today is the ninth one," he said. "I am always nervous, but it's a lot of fun as well."

He said at first, he was worried he would get tired or bored during the concert tour with many performances. "But the fans have given me strength," he said.

"And the set list for each performance varies, so I am putting out different shows each time."

After the concert, he went live again at 10:50 p.m. and thanked the fans. "It's all done," he said.

"If I had gotten enough sleep, it could have been a better performance, but I had some neck problems. Sorry to those who came today, but thank you. I hope you had a great time."

GOT7 unveiled their second episode for "Weekly Diary" at 10:30 p.m., where each member was given a question and had to answer by picking one of the members.

Youngjae chose JB as the person he thinks ate the most this week, while Mark thought Jackson was the most loyal member.

BamBam ranked Youngjae as the dirtiest person of the week, while Yugyeom also picked Youngjae as the "sleepyhead" of the group.

Junior picked both Youngjae and BamBam as the best-looking, saying they have become handsome recently.

Jackson thought everyone in the group, except Junior, had been infected by the "happy virus," while JB chose no one as the kindest person.

Also on Friday, rookie boy band Halo was on the app at 6:30 p.m. for their last show on V for a while, as the group will go away to prepare their return to the music scene with new songs.

During the show, the members sang their songs and played different games, such as their own version of charades.

Singers from label Brand New Music also appeared on the app, including rookie rapper MC Gree, who hosted the show, and hip-hop girl trio Miss S, boy duo Champagne & Candle and Kanto.

Additional footage come from actor Son Ho-jun broadcasting from a promotional event for the film "Secret," while singer Heize, who is appearing on popular competition show "Unpretty Rapstar 2," greeted fans with other participants of the show.
