It has been a really hectic month for social media users with many viral challenges popping up.

First up was the Bird Box Challenge, where people filmed themselves going about their daily tasks while blindfolded (warning: don't do it). Then an egg came out of nowhere and dethroned Kylie Jenner to become the most-liked photo on Instagram.

Now, another challenge has taken the Internet by storm. The best part? We are only halfway through January.

The latest craze to sweep the Internet, the #10yearchallenge, has people sharing a photo of themselves taken 10 years ago, alongside with a current picture of them.

Through these pictures, others can see how their appearance has changed over the years, be it for the worse or for the better. Hopefully, it's the latter.

Many foreign celebrities such as Kate Hudson, Michelle Phan, Isla Fisher and Reese Witherspoon have taken part in the challenge, as well as Malaysian actress, Michelle Yeoh, looking none the worse for wear after 10 years.

The trend has also made its way to Singapore as local celebrities hop on board the bandwagon. Many of them look just as, if not more, stunning as they did 10 years ago (we're not sure what magic was done), while others seemed to have aged gracefully.

Check out the list of celebrities who took on the #10yearchallenge.

ELVIN NG

The MediaCorp actor thinks he still looks "okay", which we can't deny.

BEN YEO

For Ben Yeo, the #10yearchallenge is an adorable display of how both he and his son have grown over the past decade.

JAIME TEO

And how about this paw-some photo featuring Jaime's pet cat which basically looks the same.

ROMEO TAN

Romeo Tan posted a nine-year challenge of him together with Taiwanese actress Joanne Tseng. They first met on the set of drama In Time With You in 2010 and recently reunited to film a drama titled All Is Well

CYNTHIA KOH

Here's to a more "grounded and matured" Cynthia.

JEAN DANKER

"You're a vampire... I served you coffee when I was in my teens. You look exactly the same... (10 years later)," an Instagram user wrote to the longtime DJ. We can't help but agree.

GLENN ONG

Conclusion: This husband-and-wife duo (Glenn is married to Jean) may be actual bloodsuckers.

MICHELLE CHIA

The former TV actress coyly teased: "10 years ago, 10 years later, which is which?". Good question.

PATRICIA MOK

Nothing else appears to have changed except the length of comedienne Patricia Mok's hair.

DENNIS CHEW

The #10yearchallenge is probably too easy for baby-faced Dennis Chew, who took it even further by going for a 20-year challenge.

MICHELLE CHONG

For comedienne-actress Michelle Chong, it was a case of "Boh Bian instead of 10 year got to do 20 year challen [sic]", because she "couldn't find any photos from 2009".

ZHU HOUREN & JOEL CHOO

The veteran actor upped the stakes by posting a #30yearchallenge. Whoa.

His son, actor Joel Choo, also chimed in.

LIV LO

Host, yoga instructor and Henry Golding's significant other Liv Lo took the opportunity to make a statement on body positivity.

BENJAMIN KHENG

In his take on the #10yearchallenge, The Sam Willows singer appears to spot a wig in a fake account. What he's trying to say exactly, we're not quite sure.
