<p>UNITED STATES - Canadian Ryan Reynolds and US actor Jeff Bridges hosted a special screening of their new supernatural police thriller R.I.P.D. last Sunday for the first responders of the Boston Marathon bombings.</p>
<p>The local police, firefighters and officers who worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus during the tragic April 13 atrocity came together for the event.</p>
<p>Reynolds, 36, and Bridges, 63, mingled with their guests and posed for photos with them.</p>
<p>Boston Police Superintendent-in-Chief Daniel Linskey told the Boston Globe that the event was "a chance to relax, especially after everything everyone's been through in the past few months".
