Vin Diesel dances to Katy Perry and Beyonce's hits

Action star Vin Diesel has proven that stars really are just like one of us.

When he received word that the DVD of his movie Riddick hit number one in the charts, he decided to celebrate by dancing around in his room - to the songs of pop divas Beyonce and Katy Perry.

He moved, he grooved, he lipsynched - the man was just having a ball in front of his computer, taking a video of himself dancing to Katy Perry's Dark Horse and later, Beyonce's Drunk In Love.

Wearing a white singlet and camouflage shorts, he could be seen pumping his arms, putting his face really close to the camera, clapping, and sticking out his tongue.

The video has been a huge hit on Facebook, with close to 200,000 shares and about 800,000 likes.

In between the two songs, he pauses to explain that he just got a call from Universal to let him know that Riddick hit number one.

He says: "'There's no way in the world Riddick would have been made without you guys."

"It's a win for all of us. Really, really want to thank you so much... I'm excited," he continued.
