TAIPEI - Taiwan singer Vivian Hsu has confirmed that she will wed her Singapore-based, Indonesia-born beau, after they were spotted walking to a bridal boutique hand in hand.
Hsu, 38, told Taiwan Apple Daily last Saturday she was "very happy" and preparing to marry chief executive Sean Lee, 36, of Singapore-based marine logistics group Marco Polo Marine.
The couple had been spotted that day at Vera Wang Bride at luxury mall Bellavita in Taipei, and so were Hsu's mother, sister and brother-in-law, said the newspaper.
"My boyfriend flew to Taiwan to pick a wedding dress with me, accompanied by my elders," the singer said.
She said she and her beau would "follow tradition and have the engagement first". The wedding will be "soon", she added.
Hsu, whose past alleged boyfriends include singer Vanness Wu and actor Stephen Fung, announced her present relationship a month ago but did not identify him then.
The couple are believed to have dated for just seven months, starting soon after she began filming Sex Agogo, a comedy he invested in.
He is divorced with two children, said the newspaper.

She said: "I don't mind. He's filial like me, family-loving and responsible."
