VIXX wins triple crown with new song

K-pop boy band VIXX won the top prize on SBS music programme "Inkigayo" with their latest track "Error" on Sunday.

The six-member group took the No.1 spot, beating veteran singer Seo Taiji and Girl's Day.

"We appreciate that we were one of the nominees for the top prize along with cool senior singers. We won first place thanks to our 'ST☆RLIGHTS.' We will work harder," said VIXX leader N.

VIXX also topped the KBS music show "Music Bank" on Friday and MBC Music programme "Show! Champion," becoming a triple crown champion last week.

The boy band staged a comeback on Oct. 14, with their second EP "Error."

VIXX debuted in 2012, and is composed of six members -- N, Leo, Ken, Ravi, Hongbin, Hyuk -- who won the winner-takes-all TV audition programme "Mydol."

The Sunday music show also starred a slew of K-pop stars, including Super Junior, Epik High, BEAST and BtoB.
