MANILA - Global Korean boy band sensation BTS has finally unveiled its comeback trailer titled "Persona" featuring the group's leader RM.

The group's agency BigHit Entertainment dropped the trailer on Wednesday via its official Youtube channel.

"Persona" serves as the introduction to their upcoming album "Map of the Soul: Persona" which is slated for release on April 12.

RM, whose real name is Kim Nam-joon, raps in a classroom setting in the three-minute video which is reminiscent of BTS' old school hip hop vibes from their 2014 album "Skool Luv Affair."

"Who the hell am I, I just wanna go, I just wanna fly, I just wanna give you all the voices till I die, I just wanna give you all the shoulders when you cry, persona," RM raps in the chorus.

"Map of the Soul: Persona" is BTS' newest album after "Love Yourself: Answer" which was released in August 2018.

The group, composed of RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook, have been performing a series of shows this year so far in Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong.
