HONG KONG- WET WEATHER DAMPENS SHOW
Before the awards ceremony, a glittery line-up of stars that included Myolie Wu, Kate Tsui, Tavia Yeung, Bosco Wong, Ron Ng and Niki Chow took to the red carpet to lend the proceedings some glamour.
But with the rainy weather in recent days as a dampener, it was earlier decided that the event be held inside the studio as a precaution.
Ms Eileen Cai, a reporter from Guangzhou, said: "The atmosphere definitely pales in comparison with other years, especially since only a fraction of fans are allowed inside."
One lucky Singapore fan who made it to the awards ceremony was logistics co-ordinator Lim Pei Pei, 28, from Singapore.
She said she was rooting for actress Linda Chung, who had been nominated for Best Actress, but she still enjoyed herself even though her favourite did not win.
The StarHub subscriber had won a sponsored trip to catch the show live for joining the TVB Fan Club.
A repeat telecast of the 2013 TVB 46th Anniversary Awards will be shown on TVBJ (StarHub Ch 838) on Dec 21 at 3pm. Brother's Keeper premieres on VV Drama (StarHub Ch 855) on Jan 1 at 9pm and Will Power on the same channel on Jan 24 at 9pm.
