YouTube sensation Jayesslee to perform in Singapore again

SINGAPORE - For the second time round, singing duo Jayesslee is set to take the stage in Singapore next January after the success of their Asia tour back in 2012.

The Korean-Australian twin sisters, Janice and Sonia, first began their foray into the music industry by posting their first music video - filmed in their own bedroom - on YouTube back in 2008.

The 28-year-olds are known for their covers of popular songs which they perform together and then post on their YouTube channel. They have since gone on to produce their own version of hit songs such as the band Maroon 5's "Payphone", which has garnered over 45 million views.

They had made YouTube history last year when their music channel reached one million subscribers. On top of that, their channel is currently Australia's most subscribed music channel on YouTube.

As part of their Asia Tour 2015, Jayesslee will perform at Kallang Theatre on Jan 16 next year. Fans will get a chance to meet the twin sisters in person if they purchase VIP tickets, which also includes a meet & greet pass, an autographed poster along with a photo opportunity with the duo.

Ticket prices start at $38 and will be available from tomorrow at SISTIC. Visit www.sistic.com.sg.
