Fireworks at dinner

Italian restaurant Zafferano offers diners a great view of the Marina Bay area. But dining there on Aug 1 and Aug 9 will be even more spectacular as diners will be able to get clear views of the fireworks display.
The menu on those nights looks delicious too. On Aug 1, the four-course menu includes a main dish of pan-fried seabass or oven- baked lamb, while on Aug 9, you can choose from either the Atlantic cod or slow-cooked US prime beef short rib.
Seats for Aug 9 are going fast, but there is still space for Aug 1.
The National Day Fireworks preview dinner on Aug 1 is priced from S$98++, while the National Day celebratory menu is priced from S$108++. Zafferano is at Ocean Financial Centre, Level 43. For reservations, call 6509-1488.
