Get a slice of Hawaii at the Ola Beach Club (ola means "life" in Hawaiian) on Sentosa. The 20,000 sq ft beachside venue seats 195 diners. The ground floor has daybeds, six private cabanas and bar swings, while the second floor houses a bar and a 1,800 sq ft beach-themed event hall for up to 200 people

The food menu will be launched tomorrow, with starters such as Lomi-Lomi Salmon ($16), flaked Norwegian salmon confit tossed with tomatoes and Maui onions in a mini waffle cup and topped with flying fish roe or caviar (add $4).

For mains, highlights include Loco Moco ($28, add $6 for foie gras) with medium-rare wagyu beef patty on Japanese Koshihikari white rice topped with panko-crusted egg; and Hawaiian Plate Lunch ($32) with brown rice, braised beef short rib and veal tongue, fried spam and soft-boiled egg.

The beach club also offers water activities such as kayaking in the day.
