Pokemon cafe to return to Singapore on Nov 24

SINGAPORE - The Pokemon-themed cafe that popped up to hours-long queues here in May will be making a comeback on Nov 24.

The 60-seater cafe will be opening again at the same venue, taking over Everything With Fries restaurant on the fourth floor of Bugis Junction.

It will feature themes from the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon video games, which are slated to launch later this month.

The menu will see new items and merchandise, while the popular Pokeball mug will be upgraded to a Great Ball mug.

More details about the second edition of the cafe, including when it will be open until, will be announced at a later date.

When the cafe debuted here on May 27, fans started queuing at as early as 6am. The waiting time stretched up to five hours at one point.

The pop-up was held until July 31.
