Posh Nosh: Plum Tea

Since discovering corn husk tea, I have been on a mission to seek out other Korean drinks, and there is a veritable treasure trove of them.

My latest find is powdered plum tea. It comes in sachets and you dissolve it in hot water to make a lightly sweet version of sng buay chwee, Hokkien for sour plum drink.

It is, truth be told, a little more refined than its Chinese cousin. Drunk hot, it is a good digestif after meals. Chilled, it provides relief on hot days.
