Whizmeal's healthy meals

SINGAPORE - Singapore start-up Whizmeal aims to help children have a healthy diet by introducing the idea of meal planning so they grow up with good eating habits.

"We firmly believe successful healthy eating starts with education plus the commitment to daily healthy meal choices, especially in schools," it said in its blog.

The recently released app enables adults, parents and teachers to educate, order food and monitor eating habits.

It works closely with schools and canteen operators, letting them order daily healthy set meals for students. Parents, students and stall-holders are simultaneously educated on the preparation of these meals.

The meals are prepared according to Health Promotion Board guidelines on serving portions.
