For the first time, all 89 seats in the 29 electoral divisions - 16 GRCs and 13 SMCs - will be contested. This election will see a total of 181 candidates staking their claim in Parliament.

Three-corner fights have been confirmed in three single-seat constituencies - MacPherson, Radin Mas and Bukit Batok. Two of these constituencies will see independent candidates.
The first two rallies will be organised by PAP's Radin Mas team and WP's Hougang team on Wednesday.
WP's rally for Hougang SMC will take place at the field in front of Blk 837 Hougang Central, while PAP's rally for Radin Mas SMC will happen at the Delta Hockey Pitch (900 Tiong Bahru Road).
The rallies are permitted to take place on Wednesday from 7pm to 10pm.
