Thailand made it a 1-2 in the individual event and won the team championship at the 67th Singapore Open Amateur Championship at the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) yesterday.

At the SICC's Island course, Danthai Boonma beat compatriot Natipong Srithong on countback after the two Thais finished on a 13-under total of 267.

Natipong returned the day's best score of 65, which included six birdies and one bogey, but it was not enough to overtake overnight leader Danthai, who shot 66. Singapore's Gregory Foo, who shot 69, finished third out of 78 golfers.
