HDB launches flats under new rental scheme

SINGAPORE - The Housing Board (HDB) has launched 1,150 flats for application under the Parenthood Provisional Housing Scheme.

The new rental-housing scheme to support marriage and parenthood provides an affordable housing option for first-timer married couples with children who need temporary housing while waiting for their new HDB flats to be built.

The flats are located in Ang Mo Kio, Bedok South, Boon Lay Drive and Dover Road.

They are primarily vacated Selective En-bloc Redevelopment Scheme flats and will be ready for occupation from the middle of the year.
