Botched nose job fails to deter event planner

SHAH ALAM - A woman who suffered a botched nose job is so determined to be beautiful that she is willing to go under the knife again.

"I will still go for surgeries to be more beautiful. Now, I wish to do it in South Korea," she told China Press.

The woman, known as Chan, 34, said she would be more careful when choosing the beauty clinic.

She had spent RM30,000 (S$12.3k) for a nose job and two correctional surgeries at a clinic in Selangor, but ended up receiving more than 300 injections and a snub nose.

She filed a claim with the Shah Alam Consumer Claims Tribunal, which had on Thursday ordered the clinic to refund RM8,500 to her.

The event planner was now making arrangements to extract a chemical called hyaluronic acid from her nose for analysis.

"If the substance is found to contain cancer-causing elements, I will sue the clinic," Chan said.
