SINGAPORE - The first batch of four Suzy Dolls, the iconic donation boxes of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore, has made way for new boxes.
Retiree Low Peng Lye, 76, a volunteer with the charity, helped move one of them yesterday from a Subway outlet at Parkway Parade. There are 56 Suzy Dolls at various locations.
The new boxes are house-shaped and feature a cheerful-looking girl with balloons. This is part of the charity's re-branding efforts that began last April, when it changed its name from Spastic Children's Association of Singapore.
