Doctors at a private hospital in Batlagundu, about 250km from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, have removed a pair of scissors from the stomach of a 25-year-old woman, reported Tamil Nesan.
Regina Mary, from Anna Nagar in Kodaikanal, has been suffering from abdominal pains for the past 10 years.
At the hospital, doctors were shocked to see a pair of scissors when they scanned her stomach.
Her son, Ashok Stephen, has filed a case against another hospital in Kodaikanal where his mother had undergone a tubectomy surgery in 2001.
He said his mother had been suffering from abdominal pains since the surgery was completed.
