Excellent staff at St Luke's Hospital

My family and I would like to thank St Luke's Hospital for the wonderful care our father, Mr Koh Cheng Kang, received while he was in Ward 2D, Bed 26 for two weeks.

Every nurse, nursing assistant, social worker and housekeeping staff went out of their way to make his stay as comfortable and as safe as possible. Although our family visited every day, we never felt that he was without the most skilled and sympathetic nursing staff.

Special mention goes to two staff nurses, Ling Ling and Mala. Nurse Ling Ling helped us get through some rough emotional patches and obviously cares about her patients, while Nurse Mala provided comfort to my mother.

We also appreciate the efforts of Dr Tan W.M., who gave us good advice and helped arrange a conference to update all our family members on our father's condition. As a doctor with a busy schedule, his concern for not only my father but for our family was remarkable.

We could not have picked a better place to have our father go through this last journey in life.
