Gearing up for her comeback, singer Son Seung Yeon reveals how she lost a great deal of weight.

According to a report on Soompi.com, she posted the following message on July 3 via Twitter: "Many people asked about my diet secrets and it's this! It is this! Rather than just exercising, I chose an exercise that has rhythm.

"I recommend this to people who don't have fun exercising! Fighting!" According to photos she released to the public, she appears to have taken up the high-intensity sport of boxing.

She also mentioned, "Don't starve yourself, but have a consistent and healthy diet."

Son burst into the Korean entertainment scene when she won Mnet's 'Voice Korea' and received much praise while she was on the show for her beautiful voice.

She released her debut album in October 2012 and is now in the process of  planning a teaser release for her latest track "I'm Not Crazy".

Her rap-ballad single was released in early July and she has wowed audiences since then with her new image.

One set of pictures shows her putting some jabs and kicks in with a trainer, biting her lips in full concentration. In another set of photos, she cutely poses with her boxing gloves.

In a past TV show, HyunA confessed that she started dieting after being compared to singer Shin Jung Hwan. The comment sparked her to undergo a strict diet, using the stairs instead of the elevator and staying away from food made with flour. Sticking to those two basic principles allowed her to lose 17kg ( 37.5lb)!
