Girl's kidneys missing after treatment at private hospital in India

THE parents of a six-year-old girl were shocked to discover both her kidneys missing after she underwent treatment at a private hospital in New Delhi, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Bavan Kumar, a juice stall operator from Uttar Pradesh, brought his daughter who has been suffering from kidney problems to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences for treatment.

Her condition started improving after receiving treatment and she underwent surgery in March.

However, a few days later, she started having severe pain in her kidney areas and an ultrasound scan showed that her two kidneys were missing.

The parents approached the hospital officials but were turned away without a proper explanation. They later lodged a police report.
