Some may consider Marcelo Avatte a saint.

The Italian-Chilean hair stylist is renowned for hand making customised wigs to help children regain their self-esteem and confidence during cancer treatment.

The hair wigs are made using donated hair from people who wish to help those in need.

He has donated more than 300 wigs since 2009 and says he was motivated to begin the project by the pain he felt when his own son lost his hair during chemotherapy.
