HPB eyes record in push for breast cancer awareness

SINGAPORE - The Health Promotion Board (HPB) will mark the 10th Anniversary of its breast cancer screening programme, BreastScreen Singapore, on Sept 29.

And to commemorate the occasion, it aims to break the Singapore Book of Records for the largest human formation of the pink ribbon logo, a symbol of breast cancer awareness.

The disease is the most common cancer among women in Singapore, with more than 1,500 women diagnosed with it each year.
