Life expectancy in Singapore raised to 80.6 years

Singaporeans can expect to live up to 80.6 years, as life expectancy here has increased by 20.4 years between 1950 and 2010, according to a research paper released yesterday.

The paper, entitled Life Expectancy, involved 13 global institutions, including the Nanyang Technological University, and attributed the improved life expectancy to the impact of economic growth on household income, among other reasons.
