Meet the man with the world's biggest biceps. Moustafa Ismail has biceps measuring 31 inches, which is as big as a grown man's waist.

His biceps have now been confirmed as the largest in the world in the Guinness Book of World Records 2013 launched recently.

According to the Daily Mail UK, the Egyptian bodybuilder has been pumping iron twice a day for the past 10 years, and credits chicken meat and his genetics for his giant muscles. His father was an Egyptian wrestler.

And if you are comparing his appearance to that of the cartoon muscle-man Popeye, don't.

Moustafa hates spinach. Nicknamed 'Big Mo', he instead eats 1.3kg of chicken, almost half a kilogram of steak or fish and four cups of almonds a day.

This he washes down not only with water, but with three litres of protein shakes a day.

Moustafa told reporters that his passion for bodybuilding started 10 years ago when he began pumping iron to keep fit.

However, upon receiving numerous compliments on his physique, particularly his bulging biceps, he decided to concentrate all of his energy into making them bigger.

Now, he's even moved to the US to further enlarge his arms with better workout equipment.

Everyday, he wakes up at 5am to workout until 8am. His exercise routine consists of cardio, strength-training, body sculpting and using heavy and light isolated weights.

His job at the petrol station he owns allows him to even pump iron while working.

He said he likes working out as it improves his mood and that he especially loves bodybuilding as the results can be seen on his body.

"I know they are growing, my chest, my shoulders, my arms. I love weights," he said.
