New pain management and neurosurgery centre opens in Paragon

SINGAPORE - Pacific Healthcare Holdings has opened its new centre for pain management and neurosurgery at Paragon, specialising in neck and back pain management, treatment of disorders of the brain and spine and neurosurgery.

Pacific Neurosurgery, located on the 12th floor of the building, also deals with herniated discs, facet joint syndrome, pinched nerves and sciatica, degenerative disc disorders and failed back surgery.

The centre is helmed by Dr Mathew Tung, a consultant neurosurgeon specialising in the field. He has extensive operative experience in endoscopic pituitary surgery, endoscopic sympathectomy as well as brain and spine tumour resections, Pacific Healthcare said.

In addition to Pacific Neurosurgery, Dr Tung also practises at Pacific Specialist Centre at Mount Alvernia Hospital, which provides an alternative for patients living in the North.
