SINGAPORE - Families whose children are in intensive care, seeking treatment for trauma or cancer at the National University Hospital (NUH), will now be able to check in for the night there with the opening of a new facility.

Called Ronald McDonald House (RMH@NUH), the 24/7 facility will be offered free to those in need, subject to evaluations and availability.

Managed by Ronald McDonald House Charities, it is established in partnership with the NUH paediatric cluster to provide overnight respite for families.

RMH@NUH, which officially opens next Tuesday, is the only such facility in Singapore.
